New Louisiana Accreditation and Mare Forms Now Online

Attention LTBA members

In the coming days, LTBA will be mailing NEW forms for Accrediting Louisiana Bred foals and for Mare Registration.
These new forms correspond to changes to the LTBA by-laws and must be completed accurately and must be signed.

Both forms are available on the  LTBA Website or may be downloaded and printed from the links below.

Please be sure to complete all segments as there is new information which is required.

  • LTBA Scholarship two $1,000 scholarships for current college students to be drawn at the winners circle after the 5th race. Must be present to win.

  • Accredited Louisiana Bred Champions Ballots to mail from LTBA office.

Feb 11

  • Out of State Breeders Awards to mail from LTBA office

Feb 15

  • Evangeline Downs Stall Application Deadline

Feb 19

  • Louisiana Derby Preview Day, New Orleans Fair Grounds; G3 Mineshaft H, G2 Risen Star St., G2 Rachel Alexandra S., G3 Fair Grounds H., Colonel Power S., Albert M. Stall Memorial S.

Feb 14

  • Valentines Day

Feb 21 

  • Presidents Day. LTBA office will be closed

Feb 25

  • Take Charge Brandi Stakes, Delta Downs, Vinton, Louisiana

Feb 26

  • Big Drama Stakes, Delta Downs, Vinton, Louisiana

Feb 28

  • Accredited Louisiana Bred Champions Ballots due in LTBA office. This is a firm deadline. Ballots received after Feb. 28 will not be counted.

The LTBA would like to remind breeders of several important deadlines coming up before the end of the year.

Pay Accreditation Fees
for 2019 Foals
By December 31, 2019
Louisiana Accreditation fees are $75 for 2019 weanlings. On January 1, 2020 foals become yearlings and the rate increases to $250.

Louisiana Futurity Nominations (Pregnant Mares)
Due by December 31, 2019

Louisiana Stallion Registrations
Due by December 31, 2019
