Brett Brinkman and Dale Lander paid his way to the Makeover this year. They have been longtime supporters of Unitas’ Thoroughbred Makeover team of Nicole Navarro and her daughter, Sarah Rouse.

“Boss, as we call him, has the biggest heart (and ego lol) of any horse I know. He has an amazing work ethic. He’s a quirky one and I’ve had to work through a lot with him, but I wouldn’t take any of the journey back. He’s truly a once in a lifetime horse for me. I want to thank Brett and Dale for trusting me with Unitas and making it possible for us to go to the Makeover. It wouldn’t have happened without them and my mom!”
