LACER at Aztec Equine to host Stallion Show

David Tillson will be hosting an open house and stallion show Friday, January 26, 2024 at LACER at Aztec Equine in Sunset, Louisiana from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m.

LACER at Aztec Equine stands Carpe Diem (Giant’s Causeway-Rebridled Dreams, by Unbridled’s Song), Unified (Candy Ride (ARG)-Union City, by Dixie Union) and Bobby’s Wicked One (Speightstown-Wicked Charm, by Ghostzapper). 

Carpe Diem was the #1 2023 Louisiana sire by number of winners, and 2nd by earnings, followed by Unified who ranked third by earnings. Bobby’s Wicked One’s first crop (two-year-olds of 2024) sold well at the 2023 yearling sales, and have earned positive feedback from trainers preparing to bring them to the track.

The first foal by BOBBY’S WICKED ONE, arrived January 5, 2022. The filly is out of the Curlin broodmare CCED, winner of $141,063 and campaigned by LNJ Foxwoods.BOBBY’S WICKED ONE entered stud in 2021 for Acadiana Equine at Copper Crowne in Opelousas, LA.

 

A Grade 3 Keeneland stakes winner BOBBY’S WICKED ONE defeated champion MITOLE in his 2YO debut and was second to him in his championship season in the in the Grade 1 Churchill Downs S. Over four years BOBBY’S WICKED ONE earned $547,673 and also defeated champion sprinter WHITMORE, Saudi Cup winner NEW YORK CENTRAL, etc.

Opelousas, LA–David Tillson announced new 2021 stallion, the Graded Stakes Winner BOBBY’S WICKED ONE, by red hot SPEIGHTSTOWN, leading sire of Grade 1 winners in 2020, has retired to Acadiana Equine at Copper Crowne.

BOBBY’S WICKED ONE defeated MITOLE winning his racing debut at 2 at the Fair Grounds by over 5 lengths. Winner of Keeneland’s Commonwealth S.-G3 and second in the Churchill Downs S.-G1BOBBY’S WICKED ONE defeated the winners of over $29 million, including 19 Graded stakes winners, earned multiple triple digit Beyer Speed Figures and retired with earnings of $547,673.

Out of the GHOSTZAPPER mare WICKED CHARM, a winning half-sister to champion Turf Sire of 2020 ENGLISH CHANNEL, his third dam is multiple champion COMMITTED.
