Senate Bill 220 Rescinded

Due to overwhelming opposition from horsemen from all sectors of the industry, Senate Bill 220 was rescinded by Sen. Eric LaFleur during the Louisiana Senate Judiciary B Committee Tuesday, April 30. The proposed legislation would have reduced race dates in Louisiana. Many thanks to all who contacted members of the Senate Judiciary B Committee. Your involvement has made all the difference!
